Our superb SAN Solution Centres are able to demonstrate all HP's StorageWorks heterogeneous modular storage solutions, including the Enterprise Virtual Array, NAS , MSA, the SANworks product suite including Data Replication Manager (DRM) as part of an overall SAN environment.

Virtualisation

Using the SANworks™ Management Appliance we are able to demonstrate the Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) live in our London SAN Solution Centre and also by web based remote management from our Harrogate SAN Solution Centre. The StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (Enterprise) is the first generation of the StorageWorks Disk Array that is enabled by VersaStor™ technology. Enterprise is a high performance, high capacity and high availability "virtual" RAID storage solution for the high-end enterprise class marketplace that removes the time, space and cost boundaries of traditionally architected storage.

Data Replication

We are able to demonstrate replication of data between both SAN Solution Centres using SANworks Data Replication Manager (DRM) and UltraNet Edge Storage Routers from CNT. The Data Replication Manager (DRM) is an ideal solution for mirroring data online and in real-time to remote locations via a local or an extended Storage Area Network (SAN). Using the Data Replication Manager software, data replication is performed at the storage system level and in the background to any host activity. The UltraNet Edge Storage Router is an intelligent storage router that interconnects disparate storage networks and deploys enterprise-wide storage networking solutions over a new or existing IP infrastructure.
