Encryption
NetVault's Encryption plugin module allows data to be encrypted for a backup. When data is encrypted, a pre-set algorithm is used to accomplish this. Using CAST 128, a 128-bit ECB encryption mode, data is encrypted at the source; encrypted data is then transferred aross the network to a storage device.
