C2C Honored for Exceptional Customer Service for Archive One Compliance at 2006 Microsoft Partner Program Awards
Today at the 2006 Microsoft Partner Program Awards, C2C announced it has won the Customer Experience Award for outstanding customer service. The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft Partners for delivering market-leading customer service through an event, activity, process or program that increased its customers’ satisfaction. The awards will be distributed at a ceremony July 12 in Boston, MA at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

“An award recognizing our commitment and dedication to the satisfaction of our customers is a wonderful representation of who we are as a company,” said Dave Hunt, C2C founder and CEO. “I am grateful to all of the organizations that rely on our email archiving solutions. They have made it our honor to be their solution provider.”
Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide. C2C was awarded the Customer Experience Award, one of two Microsoft Initiative Award categories, for delivering superior customer service by demonstrating its understanding of its customer’s needs. The award recognizes C2C’s Archive One Compliance for ingenuity in developing unique and relevant approaches to customer outreach.
Archive One Compliance, part of the company’s Archive One Suite of message management solutions, was selected based on deployment of the software at the Tyler Independent Schools District (TISD). TISD, the largest school district in northeast Texas, implemented Archive One Compliance to meet regulatory requirements. The solution offers archiving, retention and retrieval management for Microsoft Exchange and features fast indexing, search and retrieval of email with secure administration and full audit trails to aid compliance.
“It is a privilege to recognize C2C as a winner of this year’s Customer Experience Award,” said Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft. “It is this level of commitment in reaching out to our shared customers in a way that demonstrates C2C’s understanding of those customers’ needs, coupled with the value of solutions built on Microsoft technology, that enables continued success for us and for our partners. We applaud C2C for its exceptional focus on customer service this year and offer our gratitude for its ongoing collaboration to meet the needs of our mutual customers.”
The Microsoft Partner Program Awards recognize Microsoft Partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year. Multiple awards are distributed in four categories: Partner of the Year for Technology Innovation, Partner of the Year for Sales and Marketing, the Specialization Excellence Awards, and Microsoft Initiative Awards, which also includes the Winning Customer Award.
Alpha Simplify Storage Management and Improve
Data Access and Protection for Novell NetWare ®
Network Appliance and Novell improve data access and protection for NetWare and SUSE LINUX environments withiSCSI_based solutions.
Solution
NetApp iSCSI storage network technology with Novell iSCSI initiator
for NetWare® and SUSE® LINUX can help organisations pool
storage resources with low-cost storage area network (SAN) solutions
using existing high-speed IP network infrastructure.
Benefits
Together, Alpha and NetApp can help organisations improve data
access and protection, simplify management in the face of rapid
application
deployment, and reduce costs. Organisations can now leverage
existing Ethernet resources to deploy low-cost IP SANs over existing IP
networks—minimising
upfront costs and ongoing management costs.
Problems Solved
In typical direct-attached storage (DAS) environments with multiple
servers, data protection and backup is challenging, storage
is difficult to manage and scale, and storage resources are underutilised.
In
addition, many organisations are dealing with exponential growth
in the number of applications they must support. IP SAN solutions
from NetApp and Novell optimise utilisation by creating a pool
of storage resources available to all Novell hosts. Based on
the
iSCSI
standard, IP SAN solutions offer the advantages of SAN technology
without the cost of investing in traditional SAN infrastructure.
These solutions also deliver simplified management through
centralised provisioning, resource monitoring, and easy data backups
and restores—greatly
enhancing data protection capabilities.
Product Description
Supported throughout the entire NetApp product line, iSCSI
is an industry standard for iSCSI block storage protocols
networked over
high-speed TCP/IP networks. With thousands of iSCSI deployments
worldwide, NetApp offers low-lost IP SAN storage networks
that can leverage
existing LAN systems or use dedicated LAN infrastructure.
IP SANs based on NetApp offer the additional advantage of
NetApp storage management tools, which enable comprehensive
data management
across enterprise application platforms.
Novell iSCSI initiator consists of software
that installs on existing NetWare and SUSE LINUX servers. With it,
organisations
can connect
existing servers with NetApp storage systems to create
IP SAN
storage networks and NetWare clusters for high availability.
Novell iSCSI
initiator software enables IP access to shared storage
resources—including
a broad range of enterprise-grade primary and secondary
storage systems from NetApp, all of which are certified with
Novell
for IP SANs.
Ongoing Seminar Series
In order to protect system data, many organisations
are adopting and integrating disk-based backup
solutions. Before
taking
steps to implement a backup solution, it important
that you understand all of the technology options available
in order
to make an informed
and productive decision.
Alpha,
a vendor independent Data Management solution provider,
provides the information you need to
decide which disk-based
backup solution
best meets your backup, data retention, and disaster
recovery requirements.
What you'll learn:
- The difference between plain disk and virtual
tape solutions
- Alternatives for disaster recovery and long
term data storage
- Technical issues associated with each approach
- What roles disk and tape should play in your
backup solutions
- What questions to ask your vendors
- General solution recommendations for different
environments
- How to find out which solution is the best
fit for your unique requirements

Rapid
Database and Mailbox Level Recovery for
Novell GroupWise ®
Providing
improved data protection and recovery for GroupWise environments.
It is common knowledge that many software products are
available for Microsoft Exchange Server and IBM Lotus Domino/Notes that
allow administrators
to back these products up at a mailbox level should they require to restore
deleted or historical data for a user.
There are also data storage platforms available for these applications
that allow ‘point in time’ copies to be taken that can be
used to roll back entire databases in the event of an outage or corruption.
It is fair to say that neither of these powerful features has been available
as an entire solution for Novell GroupWise users, until now!!!
- Dedicated storage hardware
- Create Instantaneous Point in time copies of your database
- Process takes only seconds whether it is 10Gb or 1Tb size
- Take up to 255 copies
- Roll back to any one of the 255 copies of the database in seconds
- Use any one of the 255 copies as a GroupWise Restore Area to allow recovery
of single mailboxes, even individual items, in minutes
- Create ‘clones’ of your database in
seconds for testing upgrades and service packs in production hours
- Novell YES approved
