The Nexsan SASBeast allows you to tackle transaction performance and high capacity in a single storage system. The SASBeast provides speed and capacity to meet a variety of storage requirements whether it be high performance for Exchange or high capacity for disk to disk backup.
The SASBeast’s high availability architecture features full redundancy across all active components & delivers industry leading reliability, affordability and energy efficiency.
Resourcefully engineered to combine SAS and SATA disks in the same chassis, you will be provided with separate storage tiers for different applications which allow you to use the SAS storage tier for performance demanding applications and the SATA storage tier for capacity intensive applications. The featured AutoMAID technology places disks in an idle state during inactivity while providing near-instant access to data when needed. AutoMAID exclusively gives you the benefits of green without restrictions.
